A final MIGRAWARE validation workshop was held in Abuja to present the outcomes of the project and to drum home the need for government action to improve the use of spatial science to investigate migration within Nigeria. The Workshop was attended by government representatives from the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Interior. A communique to government charged government to complete the census process to provide valuation information regarding migration typologies and it’s impacts.
